[Merry Strawberry] Spring Palate

Merry Strawberry has been such a boom since its launch as a 'season menu' in March.

What is Merry Strawberry?

At the bottom is strawberry smoothie thingy, and yogurt in the middle and fresh strawberries on the top!
I love Merry Strawberry!
Yogurt is my favourite part. Merry Strawberry itself is quite filling. A spoon is served together to scoop strawberry and yogurt.
Merry Strawberry(메리딸기 in Korean) costs 6000 KRW, and you can buy it at YogerPresso.
There are not as many Yoger Presso stores as other cafes like caffe bene and Angel-in-us cafe, though.
As it is a 'season menu', you won't be able to taste it later. Other similar menus like Merry Berry and Merry Mango will be followed, to which I look forward :)

[Johnson's Diner] American Style Restaurant at Reasonable Price

Johnson's Diner(존슨식당 in Korean) is an American style restaurant. I could see its effort to make some American atmosphere inside.
Anyway, its prices on the menu are pretty reasonable. I mean, not very expensive, but a portion is quite enough. I really liked this restaurant.

My friends and I ordered lunch B set menu(19900KRW), in which customers can order one menu among pasta and rice, and another from steak section. Bread and butter is served first. Also, you can choose two kinds of soft drink. After the meal, Americano is served to each person. That's why lunch menu is quite appealing.

We ordered pasta with salted pollock roe(not sure of its exact name) and Johnson steak. As I really love meat, portion is as important as taste to me. In terms of it, this steak satisfied me very well. Its taste is just like general steak, and the portion is not small at all as you see from the picture. In addition, thhose potato chips were super delish. Unlike those in Maccas, they are seasoned with something that I don't know.
Pasta was also nice.
(Servers are kind, too. They asked us how food is and whether there's anything we weren't comfortable with)

This is how it looks inside. As we visited here on Friday lunch time, it was not crowded. I heard it's common to queue for their turn on the weekend and dinner time around.

It also has brunch menu, which I wanna try later, and burger menu.
If you want some Western food, which is more like American style at ok price, Johnson's Diner is worth visiting.

HOW TO GET HERE : It's on the Jeonpo Cafe street(Seomyeon).
There's a street between DUNKIN DONUTS on the right side and Busan Choongang Middle School on the left side. Walk one block and turn right. You will see Stars and Stripes very soon if you walk several steps more.
here's its facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/johnsondiner

[Canola Flowers] Yellow Spring

I have lived in Busan for more than a decade, and why did I have no idea about the field of canola flowers near my home? It's only 4 subway stops away!!! When the subway cross the bridge on the way to Gangseo-gu Office from Gupo station, you will see a huge filed of yellow canola flowers, which is breathtaking.
Get off at Gangseo-gu Office(line 3), and you will reach there in 5 mins.

Once you get there, it's just BEAUTIFUL. Just roam about this field, enjoying the beauty of yellow spring. Some canola flowers have grown as high as my height.(I'm short). I appreciated the fact that I could savour the nature itself in this big city, especially near my home. It was such a lovely view that I've experienced in recent. I love living in Busan, where I can see mountain, sea, river, and some countryside whenever I want.
(I took all of these with Galaxy S3, and I didn't edit them at all)

[Gwangalli Beach] A Beautiful Beach in Busan

Y'all may have heard of Haeundae beach if interested in Busan, Korea. Yes, Haeundae(해운대) is like a signature beach which represents Busan. It is amazing with a long coast line with fancy hotels.
However, Gwangalli(광안리) beach is also very famous, especially with so-called Diamond Bridge. It's got such an awesome view at night because of this bridge. It's a great idea to go to any cafes or restautants overlooking this beach at night. (Daytime is also great.) The Diamond Bridge is simply Gwangan Bridge in Korean. It connects Haeundae and Gwangalli. They are only a few stops away by subway. I can't wait to feel cool summer vibes at Gwangalli this summer! (Some bands are sometimes busking at night there. Pretty cool, huh?)

(I took all these pictures with Galaxy S3, some of which were edited with Instagram filters)

[Flowers] Cloudy sky Colourful flowers

It rained this morning, and it's been cloudy all day long. On the way to go somewhere, I found bright-coloured flowers bloom and caputured them with my galaxyS3.

[Cafe Dali] One Modern Cafe in Bosu Bookstreet with Good Drip Coffee

There's a cafe which is very modern, 'Cafe Dali'.
It's located in Bosu Bookstreet near Nampo-dong.
There is an entrance point which the street starts. Keep going from that point. You will pass many second-hand bookstores, and some cafes. Don't stop till you see Jungu Welfare Center(중구노인복지관) with a colourful wall. 'Cafe Dali' is right across it.

Its inside interior is very modern and well-arranged.
Well, I myself is not a person who is very into coffee. I am not fond of Americano. I am always hesitant to choose beverage/coffee to get in cafes.
That day when I visited there first, I was standing in front of the barista table, thinking what to order. The Barista recommended me to try hand drip, and I said, "I don't know which is which, and I do not like the bitter taste of Americano."
He said he would choose the coffee beans which I would like.
I got Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, and it was definitely distinctive from the general Americano.
It seemed that he is such a professional barista.

If you'd like to enjoy good-quality drip coffee in a modern place in Nampo-dong, Busan, 'Cafe Dali' is the place you MUST TRY!
