[German Village] Exotic European Houses Harmonized With a Beautiful Korean Countryside

There is German Village(독일마을) in Namhae, GyeongSangNamDo in Korea. It's the southern part of Korea, and it's about 2 hours away from Busan.
Namhae(남해) is actually an island, but thanks to the several bridges, it's not thought to be other typical islands like Dok-do or Jeju Island. (The official name is Namehae-do/Do means Island)
A number of Korean miners and nurses went to Germany to work in 1970s, and this German Village in Namhae was built for them, which means that those people who worked in Germany returned to Korea, and live here in German Village.
As my maternal grandmother lives in Namhae, (her house is really close to German Village), I have witnessed the transformation from the green hill to the exotic scenery.
At early stages, in houses with orange roofs once lived only those who worked in Germany and their spouses. When I visited here recently again, however, it turned to a town of cafes and pensions with the same looks, which I meant, the buildings with orange roofs.
Nevertheless, it is unquestionably a beautiful place with green hill(or mountains) at the back and blue blue sea in the front. Lots of people visit here, and stay here for a few days.
